Established in 1977 Metro Paper Box Limited has a rich heritage in the papckaging industry.

Gerry Dekker Sr. who first worked for Niagara Paper Box left the company in 1976 due to the company moving to Burlington Ontario. Not wanting to up root his family and move, Gerry Sr with the help of family, freinds and colleges in the industry, opened the doors of Metro Paper Box in March of 1977.

In the begining Metro Paper Box only made rigid set-up boxes and did some mounting and die cutting.

Today there services expanded into folding boxes including a variety of wine boxes, 2 piece vinyl boxes and lids and most recently custom binders, book covers, game boards and custom wrapped tubes.

Now in its second generation, the operation is now under the supervision of

Gerry Dekker Jr. as Manager. With over 30 years of experience of his own and the accumulative knowledge of Gerry Sr. behind the scenes Metro Paper Box remains as one of the last set-up box manufacturers in Ontario.
